Job Description This person would be responsible for providing mainly post sales but also some pre-sales support for DesignWare Cores. Directly interface with customers to solve design issues or questions relevant to IP products, customer installation and training, drive existing and new product evolution, interacts with other internal contacts outside of immediate team (i.e. marketing, product development, sales). Manage customer issues for specific IP products and work across business units and with other products. Write papers for technical conferences and reviews project specifications. Coordinates the technical customer requirements of future product direction. Desired Candidate Profile Requirement : Qualified applicant will have a BSEE 5+ years or MSEE, + 3 years relevant experience in ASIC/FPGA design of communications or consumer applications. Exposure to system-level intellectual property-based design preferred. An understanding of system design and logic design using an HDL language, synthesis, simulation and verification CAD tools and tool flow is important. The ability to conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers is needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills and problem solving skills are required. A big plus to have experience with I/O protocols: USB, PCI, Ethernet, IEEE 1394. Occasional travel may be required.
